1. Who we are

2. All sales are final

All sales are final. Once payment is authorised or received, orders may not be cancelled, returned, exchanged, or refunded for change of mind, incorrect selection, delayed installation, project cancellation, or any other commercial reason. Title and risk in goods pass on dispatch (or on collection, if arranged). Digital goods, firmware, licences, and custom or made-to-order items are non-returnable in every case.

Nothing in these terms is intended to exclude rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under the South African Consumer Protection Act or other mandatory law. Where such law applies and cannot be waived, our liability is limited to the minimum remedy that law requires.

3. Motorsport & installation risk

Our products are intended for competent installers and tuners. Engine management, ignition, fuel, drive-by-wire, and related systems can cause engine damage, vehicle damage, fire, injury, or death if misapplied. You alone are responsible for correct wiring, grounding, sensor choice, maps, fail-safes, and safe operation. Use on public roads must comply with all applicable laws; motorsport use is at your own risk.

4. Complete indemnity

To the maximum extent permitted by law, you irrevocably indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Core EFI, its owners, employees, agents, suppliers, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, losses, damages, costs, expenses (including legal fees on an attorney-and-own-client scale), liabilities, and proceedings whatsoever arising out of or related to: your purchase; use or misuse of any product, firmware, map, manual, or advice; installation or tuning; vehicle or engine failure; competition use; website use; or your breach of these terms — whether based in contract, delict, statute, or otherwise, and whether for direct, indirect, special, incidental, consequential, punitive, or any other loss, including loss of profit, data, goodwill, or opportunity.

You acknowledge that you purchase and use our products entirely at your own risk and that Core EFI has no duty to supervise your installation, tuning, or operation.

5. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Core EFI’s total aggregate liability arising from any order or use of any product shall not exceed the amount you actually paid us for that specific product. We are not liable for any loss or damage whatsoever beyond that cap, howsoever caused.

6. No warranties beyond law

Except for non-excludable statutory warranties, products and content are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted operation, or non-infringement. Firmware and documentation may change without notice.

7. Orders, pricing & payment

Prices are in South African Rand unless stated otherwise and may change without notice until payment is completed. We may refuse or cancel any order (for example stock, pricing error, or suspected fraud). Payment is processed via PayFast or other methods we enable; their terms also apply to the payment step.

8. Website & intellectual property

Site content, branding, manuals, and software remain our property or that of our licensors. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, or redistribute firmware or protected materials except as we expressly allow.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Subject to mandatory consumer forums, you submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Johannesburg.

10. Changes

We may update these terms at any time by posting a revised version on this page. Continued use of the site or placing a new order after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
